McC’s delivers the goods right to your door step (or work place, significant other(s), mommy…) via UPS. But shipping ice cream can be a messy business, so here’s how we make it work.
We offer overnight, 2-Day, and ground shipping (where applicable). We guarantee your package will arrive frozen.*
For Southern California folks: you can select the ground shipping option to save a few bucks. Don't worry. UPS guarantees ground shipping will get there the day after your order is processed.
Overnight and 2-Day orders must be placed before noon PST in order to guarantee same-day processing and shipping.
All packages arrive within 48 hours. (So, no shippy shippy on weekends, peeps.).
Each package (four pint minimum) is shipped in a reusable, insulated cooler, packed with enough dry ice to insure your order gets to you frozen.
It's best to open the package immediately upon arrival and to place the contents in your freezer. Please, HANDLE DRY ICE WITH CARE. In fact, USE GLOVES.
*Except for soft goods, apparel, etc., of course, which will be shipped separately via UPS ground.
Orders placed before 12PM (PST) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday ship same day.
Orders placed after 12PM (PST) Wednesday will ship the following Monday.
No deliveries on Sundays, Mondays, or holidays honored by UPS. Why can't we deliver on Mondays? Because we can't guarantee your package will arrive frozen. Also, no deliveries to P.O Boxes – that would really be messy.
A McC’s Gift Pack? Hell yeah! Whether personal or for business, we are happy to build a custom gift. We’ll even incorporate your products or marketing materials into your packaging.
Just to be safe, tell the lucky party they’ve got something coming, and that it’s cold and delicious, but also extremely perishable. Further, tell ‘em the package is worth the price of getting home on the earlyish side, on the day the package is going to arrive. Hopefully, they’ll figure out the rest.
If not, don’t worry - all of our packages are marked "keep frozen" and "perishable".
And each package contains a card with instructions for proper handling of dry ice.
Oh. And, yes. You’ll be able to include a custom greeting or message for the lucky recipient. Gratis. Of course.
